Allkpop has acknowledged the release of No Brain’s High Tension today, including a passage on the purpose of the album: No Brain returns after five years with sixth album, “High Tension”. Though contrary to what the headline suggests, No Brain has continuously been releasing mini albums and singles as well as contributing to various soundtracks since the release of fifth full length album 그것이 젊음 in 2007.
The music video for main track Radio Radio, directed by Johnny Royal’s Kimhwan, was released today: No Brain “Radio Radio”

Two much-anticipated releases showed up in Hyang’s preorder section today. Almost two dozen addictive, warm indie pop songs coming up shortly!

Yesterday the mastering of the first album from lovely duo Autumn Vacation finished. The self-titled release will be out in digital format already this week on October 7 and the CD release follows suit a week later on October 14.
The musical genius of Julia Hart’s Bobby Chung paired with the warm and sweet vocals of Gyepy proved successful already last year with the release of a self-titled digital single, and I’ve loved everything I’ve heard since as well.

Once again I’ve fallen behind in the release updates. No time to summarize April just yet, but at the very beginning of the month — April 1 – Pastel Music released what seems like an interesting soundtrack, going by the name of “천일의 몽상” (Cheonilui Mungsang), for a couple of books. The soundtrack has been compiled by the author of the books, Lee Dong Jin, and primarily contains songs from licensed Pastel artists, but a few Korean artists have been featured as well: Han Hee Jung (휴가가 필요해), The Melody (Love Box), Jaejoo Boys (눈 오던 날), Zitten (곁에),Tearliner (Be A God), Sweetpea (침묵), and Lee Jang Hyuk (아우슈비츠 오케스트라).
The books are called “길에서 어렴풋이 꿈을 꾸다” and “필름 속을 걷다”, and if I get the info right they’re the result of Lee Dong Jin’s visits to places all over the world where movies have been shot. To see which song goes with which book and movie I’d suggest a visit to Hyang Music.
